Love Letter

I miss you every day.

Did I take you for granted or was my fear of losing you just too strong? If I had you back would I be different? Would I hold you, cherish you, do whatever it takes to keep you? Perhaps. But I know myself too well.

I know that you are out there, somewhere. I see you in brightly coloured buildings, hear you in the laughter of playing children, and smell you in meals shared between families and friends.

So I brace myself against your absence, hoping that you return to illuminate my existence once again.

That’s powerful and densely layered. Well done Thomas

I agree with Neil. It’s sad, he knows he has to change but feels he’ll never be able to. All that’s left is hope it’ll turn out OK nevertheless
